There are mainly three ways while selecting a engineering college and branch
- On the basis of good engineering college
- On the basis of good engineering branch
- Good engineering branch in a good engineering college
Options:1
Most of the students go for good engineering college like if you will get any IIT it will not matter for you in which branch you are because Top IITs are anyways better than any other college
Option:2
Most of the students are branch specific like if you want to for computer engineering then it will not matter for you whether it is IIT-D or IIT-G
Option:3
This options is a very wise option and need a lot of research in terms of college selection because some institute are good with some specific branch like...IIT-Mumbai for mechanical, IIT-K For computer science, IIT-Kanpur for Aeronautical engineering
