This is the question which is mostly asked by engineering students .I can give you some guideline for choosing the one
M. Tech deals with specialization in a chosen field of
engineering......if you are technically inclined and interested to have
a career working in the technical side, go for M.Tech specialization. If you wish to work with the
technical research team that’s involved in engineering projects viz.,
design, research and tests to improve, innovate and come up with new
solutions to products, designs & technologies.
MBA deals with the business side of profession, it deals with different
aspect of business strategy viz., making management decisions,
understanding project is viability, finance and cost involved,
marketing strategy, market conditions etc.,If you wish to work with the
management team, doing analysis, reports, documentation, planning and
making strategies to improve business in core areas of management viz.,
marketing, finance, hr, operations etc.,
Both are highly successful career choices, depending on the skills that
you posses - if you are comfortable with technical aspect, go for
M.Tech, and if you are good at management skills, go for MBA. But now a days MBA is the first choices of engineers because of it's higher pay structure
