What is the best route towards become an accountant ? I just
finished school and have been accepted to an engineering degree at
Bristol university, however I have had second thoughts and have decided
to rather become an accountant.
I was wondering if you thought it would be better to change course or
university to get into an accounting degree and do that since the start
or should I do the engineering degree at Bristol and then become a
chartered accountant?
What would look better when I am looking to get a job as an accountant?
I have heard that they like the way that engineers think.. |

I you want to be an accountant the after your 10+2 you can join CA and can do B.Com from a good college simultaneously aftre that you are eligiblt for doing a job of an accountant but if you have taken admission into engineering abroad as you have told then i will suggest that you continue your studies and aftre your graduation you do yur MBA in finance that will again lead you to the same destination witha great salary, job profile, and carrer growth. As an acoountant you can only get 4-5lack in india without CA but with CA you can easily get upto10lack as a starting salary but aftre your MBA in finance from a repued instiute like IIM-A,B or C or if its is form anroad then your salary may be in several lacks per month instead of per annum so keep yur focus on MBA
Best of luck
