As you have asked for the scope then i need to inform you that the scope is immense as that of you can choose to become an chemist as you yourself have mentioned or work in petroleum industries or be a lecturer in college or you can also opt for a chemical industry career etc. such are the opportunities for you.
and regarding your approach how you can join them you need to check in employment newspapers for the jobs in govt sector and in a private one you can contact some consultancies near your place or get yourself registered with the online job searching
sites like naukri.com , monster.com etc...they will inform you
regarding your jobs matching to your profile and about some special
openings in some industries..
