A typical choice after B. Pharmacy is M. Pharmacy. It is offered with a number of specialisations.


For instance, Manipal University, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences
offers the course with Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry,
Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Pharmacy
Administration, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance,
Pharmaceutical Biotechnology as specialisations. It also offers M.Sc
Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs. The eligibility criterion is
B.Pharma with minimum 50 per cent marks. The admission is based on

The next usual choice is MBA pharmacy. It equips the students to
lead the research developments, product developments and other business
operations in the pharmaceutical and allied industries.


National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Punjab,
offers MBA (Pharma). The eligibility criterion is B. Pharm or B. Tech
Chemical Engineering or equivalent or M.Sc in Life Science or chemical
science with minimum 60 per cent marks. The admission is based on
performance at entrance test, group discussion and personal interview.


Apart from these, it offers a number of specialisations like
Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products, Traditional Medicine,
Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Regulatory
Toxicology, Pharmaceutics, Biotechnology and Pharmacoinformatics with
its MS (Pharm) programme. It also offers M.Tech (Pharm). B. Pharma
students with minimum 60 per cent marks are eligible for these courses.
The admission is based on performance at entrance test.

M.Sc. Regenerative Medicine from Manipal University, Manipal

M.Sc Bioinformatics from University of Pune, Bioinformatics Centre.

M.Sc. Dental Materials from Manipal College of Dental Sciences,
Manipal. The admission is based on marks obtained in qualifying
examination.


BITS, Pilani conducts a computer based online test for the admission
into its various higher degree programmes. The tests are conducted at
Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkatta, Nagpur, Pilani and Goa,
subject to a certain minimum number of candidates opting for each
centre. The test will have multiple choice type questions. The short listed
candidates are called for interviews conducted at Pilani/Goa. The
selection of students is based on performance at test and interview.
