Question
I am working and I want to pursue CFA. my application for education loan from SBI was registered online via ticket No. SBI-EL-10000121819.After completing all the formalities of loan documentation and necessary enquiries by the bank, it has been communicated by the bank that the course for which I have asked for the loan is not eligible whereas the bank website clearly mentions that all courses having employment prospects as well as professional courses are eligible. If not eligible, why it registered my online application where all the course related details were given. Please advise what to do and how to approach bank for giving further clarifications and explaining the details?

First of all let me clear you some of the things

Every bank has it's own rule and regulation for giving education loan and regarding courses they are having a list of courses which are having better job prospectus like all professional courses so that you can repay your loan easily after completing your education.

In the same manner they are also having list of approving institute for which they provided loan like All IITs NITs, center and government institute and some reputed  private institute where chance of getting a job after your education are much higher and even in global market you can get a job easily

so you may be right that your course is professional but may be your institute is not under their approved category of institute or there may be many more reasons like your security issues etc.....

so i will suggest you to personally contact the nearest branch manager and find out the reason or you can contact the another bank nearby you .I can also provide you the list of banks and their different term a sans conditions for education loan please go through it
