Sir i have completed my B.Tech first year in cs with 75% marks from gbtu. unfortunately in second year i can\\\'t give my 3 semester exams & loss my year. i am suffering from pain due to a big cyst in my stomach since 8 months. now i am totally well to take again admission in second year. still i am not interested in cs , languages,software development. i want to become an IAS officer. should i leave B.Tech & do BA. i am very confuse to what to do & what to not do?please give me quick reply through email.

If you want to prepare for IAS then there is no harm in doing engineering because most of the IAS aspirants are engineers only and they clear the IAS exam with art subjects.I will suggest you that start your preparation from now onwards and work hard towards your goal but don't change your field from engineering to art because an engineering degree will help you in any case
