That you have to decide whether you want to work in private sector or in government sector .Both are totally different and each individual is having its own criteria for choosing a sector. Each sector is having it's own advantage and disadvantage like in Government sector you have
- job security
- a fix salary
- not much work pressure
- no late working hours
- A lot of holidays
- and so many perks and allowance(after 6th pay commission)
but on the other side in private sector you will have
- No job security but chances of growth and opportunity are high
- In starting salary may be less but after that sky is the limit(especially in IT sector)
- Working pressure is there but if you are enjoying your work then it's not a big deal which is called work satisfaction
- holiday may be less as compared to government sector
- perks and allowance increase drastically wit your working experience
still there are few things which you will come to know after joining the sector .I will suggest you to go through the following points before taking any solid decision
- You can switch from private sector to government sector any time in your life but vice versa is not possible
- Talk with your seniors who are already in government sector and ask about their working culture and king of work they are doing there which is very important
- Till you get your results of BEL or NPCIL you can join IBM and can take some experience
best of luck for your future
