HI ! my son is in class X CBSE he scores 68 to 72 % he is interested in
automobile designing. Should I change the board to GBSE as he is not a
very hard working kind also I suppose GUJCET would be easier than AIEEE
and Gujarat state has only 1 % seats for CBSE what do u suggest does he
need basic BE mechanical degree? |

As you have told that your son has scored average marks and you are sure that he cannot score well in AIEEE so you want to change his board so that he can secure a engineering seat in Gujrat on the basis og GUCET rank ,there is no problem in that but before doing that i will suggest you to go through a career counseling test which help y in finding out the exact career for your son according to his aptitude level and interest because even if he secure a engineering seat through GUCET then again he has to face competition in engineering,then campus placement,then after joining company etc......because getting a engineering seat is not the sole purpose in life
