Honestly if you ask me culinary arts field is ever evolving and one
needs to be in vogue and in tune with the latest.If you join a hotel
you will end up doing what you know or just doing the same things which
your hotel serves.By joining a post graduate diploma in culinary arts
you will definitely have an edge by virtue of qualifications as none of
the chefs in India have such qualifications as of today the simple
reason being that such courses did not exist in India and while working
the scope of doing a full time course is highly impossible.But keep in
mind you have to pay big money for another qualification and if
financially you are sound then I suggest you go for the course.
It's always better that you get all your required qualifications first
before you really start working as you know the chef job involves long
hours .Wish you all the best for your future.
