Does interest on education loan apply during course or not?

Interest on education is charged form the day onwards it is given to you.Most of the bank provide options that you start giving interest amount during your study and after completion of course you can return the principal amount .Say for example if you have taken a loan of Rs2 lakh for engineering then interest of 4 year course you can pay but Rs 2 lakh you can pay after completion of your course
