Nothing is possible in engineering without mathematics and that is the reason mathematics should be compulsory in your 10+2 if you want to for engineering.Engineering is the application of science for a comman man usage like bikes, cars, flyover, computer, electronics and simple things like bulb.We know that electricity flow through metal and by using this scientific facts we used so many instrument in our daily life from toaster to fridge, from bulb to television and many more.
In Engineering you have to solve many real life problem in mathematics and application of science and require a clear understanding of maths.Like matrics are used in FEA method which is the most commonly used tool in mechanical, civil , aerospace industry.Same is the case with everything.You will understood that clearly when you will go through subjects in your engineering
