i have completed my diploma in 2006 with 96%. And now i am working in a MNC company in Bangalore. i want to do higher studies (b.e/b.tech) either by part time or correspondance. Please help me how to start my higher studies. Thanks & Regards, Manoj

But before all this, consider once again doing B.Tech
in regular mode. Now that the seats for engineering have increased, a
good student like you can surely secure a seat provided the required
efforts are put in. And, you can take a loan if you have economic
constraints.


Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, School of Continuing and
Distance Education offers B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering in
Correspondence-cum-Contact mode. However, to enrol yourself for this
course, you must be, holding a diploma in a concerned branch of
engineering. 


The admission is based on performance at the entrance examination conducted by the university.


College of Engineering, JNTU, Anantapur is one of the contact centres for this course. For details, log on to www.jntu.ac.in


SRM University, Directorate of Distance Education, Kancheepuram
District offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The
eligibility criterion is a pass in 10+2 (PCM) or its equivalent with
minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate. For details, visit

Acharya Nagarjuna University, Centre for Distance Education, Andhra
Pradesh offers this course. The eligibility criterion is a Diploma in
engineering in the relevant branch/ section A of AMIE in respective
branch/ B.Sc degree with Mathematics either at Degree or Intermediate
level as one of the subjects.


Employees in Public or Private sector who have completed
intermediate with Mathematics and Physics as optional subjects and two

Branches like Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering and Electronics, Information Technology, Civil and
Communication Engineering can also be taken up in distance mode. Coming
to any other course, there are a number of subjects offered at graduate
level by several universities in distance mode and you can opt for one
among them that are allied to the subjects you are studying in
Intermediate or even some others. Also, there are several
specialisations offered in distance mode at the postgraduate level to
complement these graduate studies.
