MS Stands for Master of Science and ME stands for Master of Engineering but in India there are no MS as this is the term used in foreign university like BS and MS are graduation and post graduation courses
In India ME used to be there after engineering graduation but now it is replaced by M.Tech but if you are going abroad for doing your post graduation in engineering hen you will get a MS degree
The only difference is in nomenclature and nothing more because both are post graduation
