Before taking your decision i would like to show you hard work involved in UPSC exam preparation. The
competition being very very tough for the IAS examination, one has to
be prepared to put in hours (10 to 12 hours) of work and take repeated
attempts at the UPSC civil services exam.So prepare yourself mentally first for that kind of hard work.If you have read the interview of successful candidates then it's only hard work that pay at last and it may take 2-3 years. Most of the students waste their precious time in selection of subjects, collecting proper study material ,coaching etc...so if you are serious then at least six month before do all those preparation and then start you preparation with proper planning and time table and more important strict to it.In a single line it is like cutoff from the social world only then you can achieve something.
I am not discouraging you but it is the reality because most of the students ruin their whole career because of improper knowledge and strategy about this exam.So best of luck and go ahead
