i have a rank of 31600 in AIEEE and my state rank is 501.will i get a admission into b.tech in a good govt engg. college?

You are having a good state rank but if you are having any NIT in your state then chances are strong enough to get admission into that because there is 50% seat reserved for home state in any NIT and remaining 50% are open to all other state
last year there were 20 NITs and 10 new NITshas been added this year so this year cutoff list will go low and chances of getting admission will be more so here is a link for you where you can get the cutoff of last year(institute wise)
