B.E./B.Tech programme (first year on the basis of AIEEE-2010):
Admissions to B.E./B.Tech programmes shall be made on the basis of
merit in All India engineering entrance examination (AIEEE-2010) to be
conducted by CBSE, New Delhi on April 25, 2010. Only
those candidates shall be eligible, who score at least 20% (15% for
SC/ST) aggregate marks in AIEEE-2010. In addition, minimum 60% (55% for
SC/ST) in aggregate of Physics, Mathematics and
Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/ Computer science at 10+2 or equivalent
are also required to be eligible for admission
50%
of the sanctioned seats of B.E./B.Tech programme are reserved for the
candidates who have passed (or appearing) their +2 from Institutes
located outside Punjab
The candidates desirous of
seeking admission in this university have to submit a separate
application to this university on prescribed application form appended
in the prospectus of the university
In addition to
above, 60 seats for Chandigarh campus shall be filled in B.E. (Computer
Engineering) on all India basis on the merit of AIEEE-2010
