Here are the steps to apply for SBI Clerical Recruitment
1. Candidates are required to go to any CBS Branch of State Bank of India and pay the amount of fees and get receipt from the branch.
The candidates are required to apply online through website www.statebankofindia.com and www.sbi.co.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The last date of registering applications is 31.05.2008. Application registration on SBI website will be open from 01.05.2008 to 31.05.2008.

Be ready with the following info/ material before you sit for applying:
- Candidates should have a valid email id.
- Candidates should have the Deposit Journal No. (receipt of payment of fees ) from CBS branch of State Bank of India before applying online.
- The payment of fees should be made on or before 31.05.2008. This date will be same for the candidates belonging to far–flung areas.
- The candidates should enter his /her name exactly as it appears on the payment receipt.
- Candidate should note down the Registration no. and the Password for future reference.
- Candidate should take a printout of the system generated application form for future reference.
- Candidate should also keep the original payment receipt alongwith the printout.
