Yes it is right that they are not conducting any entrance test for the courses but for your information here are some details

A.M.Ae.S.I. at par with B. E./ B. Tech.

Minimum Qualification

  • 10+2 Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths with 50% Marks in individual subjects
  • Engineering Diploma pass (Any Stream) min. 50% aggregate.
  • B.Sc. with PCM group with min 50% aggregate

It comprises of TWO Sections; Section "A" (Duration 2 yrs.) and Section "B" (Duration 2 yrs.)

 Job Prospects
The Placement Cell of the Institute is in touch with various organizations and will forward the bio-data of the students (of final semester) in order to assist them in placements. Job opportunities for A.M.Ae.S.I. students are with organizations like:

    * AirIndia
    * Jet Airways
    * Indian Airlines
    * Kingfisher Airlines
    * Go Air
    * Air Deccan
    * Spice Jet
    * Air Works India, Boeing Commercial Airplane Company.
    * Safran Aerospace and all Aircraft related Manufacturing industries.
    * DRDO, ADA, NAL
    * Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd
    * Indian Air Force / Indian Navy
    * MRO's Coming up

In case of Aeronautical Engg. the job prospects seems to be much brighter because very few Engg. Colleges are awarding B.E. (Aeronautical) and also many private Airlines have started their operations, also many maintenance, repairing, overhauling facilities are coming up.

All these details are provided on their site but nowhere they have mentioned their placement record of last year and as they are not conducting any entrance exam then the value of course is in doubt because there are very few institute which provide aeronautical engineering course like IITs and IIST which you can clear through IIT-JEE and ISAT only so i will suggest that contact personally any ex or current student of the same college before joining
